Guess Who Saved Millions of Animals in 2016? PETA’s Mobile Clinics!

PETA, the O.G.’s of the animal rights and animal welfare movement, had an astonishingly good year for their mobile spay/neuter clinics in 2016:

We spayed or neutered a jaw-dropping 15,107 animals in 2016—all at low or no cost to their guardians. That’s the highest number of animals “fixed” in one year since the program began

Well, what does that all mean?

Since one female dog and her offspring can produce 67,000 puppies in only six years, and one female cat and her offspring can produce 370,000 kittens in just seven years, every “snip” potentially saves millions of animals from being born only to suffer on the streets or enter already overburdened animal shelters.

PETA do absolutely amazing work and get their hands dirty in situations that would break the spirit of most people. Please consider supporting them in their fight to make the world cruelty-free!
